Welcome to National Christian Academy online! It is my pleasure to introduce you to our school and ministries.

National Christian Academy was founded in 1982 by Dr. Janice Lowery. National Christian Academy, called the Light on the Hill, provides an affordable quality Christian education in a safe and loving atmosphere where students are prepared for life, college, and eternity. The academy has built a reputation on training committed and Godly staff. Our objective is to train students to be leaders of tomorrow, to help students excel in their academic pursuits, and to win them to Christ.

National Christian Academy enrolls students from K3 through 12th grade. The academy is a nine acre campus located in Fort Washington, Maryland. The academy has 35 large classrooms to accommodate an average student-teacher ratio of 22 to 1. The academy has numerous extra curricular activities to cultivate the gifts and talents of approximately 500 to 600 students. Since the first graduating class of 1986, National Christian Academy has produced numerous college graduates and Godly community leaders across this great nation.

Whether you are a graduate, parent, or someone interested in learning more about the ministries, thank you for visiting this website. We warmly invite you to visit the campus in person to see our facility and to introduce you to our wonderful faculty and staff.

In Honor of King Jesus,
Dr. Janice and Steven Lowery
First Lady and Pastor
